Kemampuan Literasi Siswa Kelas IV melalui Pendekatan Kontekstual Berbasis Permainan Edukatif
Abstract
Literacy is a fundamental skill that is crucial for supporting student learning success in elementary school. This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' literacy skills through the application of a contextual approach based on educational games. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach, with fourth-grade elementary school students as subjects. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of educational games linked to real-life contexts increased student engagement, reading interest, and comprehension. Students demonstrated improvements in their ability to interpret texts and connect information to everyday experiences. Thus, the educational game-based contextual approach has proven effective in improving student literacy.
