Pengaruh Penerapan Media Infocus Dalam Layanan Bimbingan Kelompok Terhadap Strategi Belajar Efektif Siswa Kelas VA, VB, VC, VD SDN 122 Palembang

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of implementing Infocus media in group guidance services on the effective learning strategies of students in classes VA, VB, VC, and VD at SDN 122 Palembang. The study employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects consisted of students from classes VA, VB, VC, and VD who participated in group guidance services assisted by Infocus media. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, N-Gain tests, and t-tests to determine the effectiveness and significance of the treatment provided. The results showed an improvement in students' effective learning strategies after participating in group guidance services using Infocus media. The average pretest scores ranged from 59.7 to 62.1 and increased to 82.9–85.1 in the posttest results. The N-Gain analysis yielded average scores ranging from 0.57 to 0.61, which fall into the moderate category, indicating that the implementation of Infocus media was sufficiently effective in improving students' learning strategies. Furthermore, the t-test results revealed that the calculated t-value was higher than the t-table value, indicating a significant effect on the improvement of students' effective learning strategies. Therefore, the use of Infocus media in group guidance services has proven to create a more interactive and engaging learning environment and to support the improvement of learning quality among elementary school students.
